"Federal employees who returned from the month-long partial government shutdown decided that it was probably not worth the effort to relocate the roughly 90 individuals involved. That’s because some of them were pregnant or newborns, and all of them were opportunistic elephant seals that have taken over what used to be the tourist area of Drakes Beach, Calif."
They used to sell these maps years ago in town. I was on the couch and randomly I thought of the map and went to dig it up from the garage. I still had it in great condition. I bought it when I was young. I laid it out on the table and put a piece of glass over to photograph. I probably haven't seen or heard anyone mention them since I bought it. Hope you enjoy this little piece of history.
