Whether you have skated it, stood on it to see the waves, photographed it for your insta, or simply driven by it at sunset, we all know the Jetty Mini Ramp . It's grown to become an iconic symbol of our coastside community. LINK TO SUPPORT
With the weather warming up and summer just around the corner, we all can't wait to get some great skate sessions together at the jetty but unfortunately this winter has really taken a toll on our beloved ramp.
Regardles of the "fall at your own risk" nature of skateboarding, the ramp is becoming a little too sketchy to ride. The last thing any of us want is someone hurting themselves on the ramp due to a fixable hole in the wood... or worse, the ramp being destroyed because of a lawsuit that follows :(
A few of us have patched and fixed what we can with the little money we have but we sure could use some community help :)
We really just need wood, screws, and a new surface.
The reason we have to keep patching holes is because we don't have a real outdoor grade Skatelite surface. a single 4' x 8' sheet of this costs $199...
Used materials are an option too!
If you know anyone who can help out in any way, please pass this on!
